The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory until 12PM Wednesday for light snow and freezing drizzle centered on the morning commute across Wisconsin.
A compact shortwave trough will force snow to develop across southern Wisconsin early Wednesday morning, spreading northeast into central Wisconsin by noon. Snow will begin across the southwest between 3-6 AM tomorrow morning and end around 3 PM in east central Wisconsin.
Snow accumulations of 1-2" are expected. A glaze of freezing drizzle is possible as well. Be prepared for slippery roads tomorrow morning.
Temperatures will warm into the 30's during the day to help clean up the roads following morning snow. The loop below shows simulated radar beginning at midnight tonight ending at 6PM Wednesday.
