Is this storm evolution and projection a bit unusual?

Hi Dadyoho. Yes actually the storm will overrun the arctic high pressure passing through now which causes the warm front to be bent back towards the southeast. Then the surface low passes through but it's pretty much heading straight east because it can't go northeast into the arctic high. Weird situation. Haven't had many of the classic winter storms this winter. This is the second one heading east like this this year. Good question thank you!
