WISCONSIN - On Thursday, during the morning to mid-day hours a storm or storm cluster will traverse Wisconsin from NW to SE. Initially this storm/cluster will be elevated but may intensify during the afternoon hours over central or eastern WI as moisture increases, parcels becomes surface based, and things tighten up across the region. It's also possible that the morning cluster weakens and new development occurs in it's place.
Either way, strong to severe weather is possible with these storms. High cloud bases appear likely given that moisture is likely overdone. CAPE is weak to moderate however shear profiles are heavily veered (during mid-day in warm sector). Would not be surprised if these storms developed into severe levels. Organized storms for sure, probably a supercell or two. Large hail. Damaging wind gusts.
UPPER MICHIGAN - Thunderstorms may develop during the afternoon. Given limited moisture, I suspect storms will struggle to become strong/severe. Cannot rule it out however given position ahead of approaching low pressure.
