MON 1:18PM - Quick hitting - narrow band of heavy snow will develop and traverse through western/northwestern Wisconsin overnight. The heaviest amounts could reach 3" across northwest WI within a 3-4 hour window. The snow will weaken in intensity as it pushes northeast. In this situation it's boom or bust and if you're not in the heaviest snow corridor it's unlikely to amount to much. Light snow or flurries may linger into the late morning hours in northern Wisconsin. Perhaps a light mix will push through southern WI. This could be a similar situation to this morning where I thought roads would be in better shape by the morning commute. I would expect slippery road conditions at sunrise tomorrow but hopefully that's not the case!
