WEDS 9:00PM - I'm sorry for lack of updates. It's the combination of not being aggressive and competing priorities which includes development on the new weekly forecast tool - which is coming along really nice btw! A weird storm on a weird week. In the future will break the storm into three separate events...one for each day. ANYWAY...
TODAY RECAP - We got our narrow band of 2-5" across northern WI as forecast. I updated the maps include THIS and Thursday (tomorrow).

Snowfall accumulations from Wednesday confined to narrow strip across northern WI.
THURSDAY SNOW - A spiraling arm of a long duration, essentially stationary system will pivot north across the state favoring the eastern half of WI. Initially I was worried about wintry mix and melting and that may still occur to some extent but all models agree on 1-3" of snow potentially on Thursday (12am to 12am FRI) and I'm going with that. I've gone with relaxed verbiage again taking a less-aggressive approach. The long duration aspect of the system reduces the overall impact and I believe Wisconsinites like you can manage a few inches at worst for one day. Friday will be another day for snow in southern/eastern WI.

Wisconsin Weather
Will try my best to provide an update tomorrow. Friday will get a new separate event to help with forecast clarity.
