FEB 9, 2020 | Central Wisconsin expecting 6-10" on Sunday

LAST UPDATE : FEB 9, 2020

9:15PM - These latest changes are out of frustration with previous forecast. EC is the outlier and I got to caught up in the moisture thing, trying to support my own personal ideologies and bias. Clear to me now I was approaching this wrong. I still won't go highest amounts...when you use EC as the lower end model support is good for 6-10" through central WI. Locally higher amounts not out of the question. NAM is definitely overdoing the moisture coming up from the south but no longer sure how much that matters. A very narrow but intense band at the time of writing has formed to the west. Will see that pivot through on Sunday. Moisture from the south will link up during the day tomorrow which is helping snow totals across eastern WI. See maps for the latest forecast. I'm going to try a different approach on the next storm. Sorry for the frustration. I'm frustrated too. All part of the plan I guess. - JP
