APR 7, 2020 | Isolated Large Hail Supercells

LAST UPDATE : APR 8, 2020

RECAP - Isolated severe weather started around 8AM this morning with a long track hailstorm from Ladysmith to Merrill (roughly). That cell faded. Isolated redevelopment then occurred north of Green Bay dropping large hail into Door County. That moved quickly over the lake. The storm of the day blew up rapidly during the late afternoon north of Milwaukee with 2.5" large hail reported. Quickly moves over the lake. T-storm Watch was issued in the southeast, then extended back west two counties all the way to Platteville as the fourth isolated storm cluster developed, went warned and produced large hail as it soon moved into Illinois.

Thankfully large hail was the main hazard and storms occurred mostly on the edges of the state (exception morning storm).
