Could have one or two strong to severe storms develop during the afternoon over NW WI. The axis of instability will run through Minneapolis NE into NW WI with much lower instability towards the east. Thus I believe storms will weaken as they travel east; but within that afternoon window within the instability axis severe weather is not out of the question. Shear is weak to moderate (weakest in the lowest 0-1km). Instability weak to moderate also. Could kick off some supercells given the wind profile. A relatively localized threat. Will reevaluate tomorrow morning.
