11:30 AM SAT - No changes to the forecast. 1-3" for north central Wisconsin, lesser amounts or nothing elsewhere. Temperatures below freezing during the morning will make for a minor ice threat on untreated roads. As the day wears on less of an issue.
PREVIOUS - 1-3" for northern Wisconsin and I don't feel the need to go any higher than that right now
If the timing speeds up centering more on the morning hours instead of the daytime, maybe then more snow for the rest of Wisconsin.
This system is more progressive on today's runs.
Warmer air in the south may lead to a snow/rain mixture, mostly snow though I suspect. Trace amounts for southern Wisconsin. Will have to watch for icy conditions with near freezing ground temps. In conclusion think ice would be more threatening than the snow.
Will keep an eye on it this weekend and hope to provide an update on Saturday.
